Job Description

We are seeking a QA software tester to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications and be able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the development team to ensure the quality of our software products and participate in continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities as a QA Software Tester

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and identify potential issues.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Report, track, and verify software defects to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in release and deployment activities, including creating release notes and verifying successful deployments.
  • Continuously improve the quality assurance process, including identifying areas for automation and process improvement.

Requirements for a QA Tester Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with test management tools (such as Jira or TestRail) is a plus.
  • Experience with automation testing tools (such as Selenium or Appium) is a plus.
